Ed Lynch has been re-elected chairman of Identity Clark County, a business-based community advocacy group. Other officers are Scott Horenstein, vice chairman; Joe Kortum, secretary; Eric Fuller, treasurer. New directors are Roger Qualman and Jerry Nutter. Returning directors include Patti Bishop, Bob Byrd, Scott Campbell, Parker Cann, Kim Capeloto, Paul Christensen, Ron Frederiksen, David Groth, Elie Kassab, Lance Killian, Tom Mears, Scott Milam, Tami Nesburg, Pat Sheaffer, Tom VanSweringen and Keith Wallace. Identity Clark County is a non profit organization focused on the economic health of the region.

Jean Maunder, a nurse and certified nurse midwife at Southwest Washington Medical Center's Family Birth Center, has been named 2006 Nurse of the Year in the perinatal/pediatric category by the March of Dimes. Maunder was recognized for her in uence and service in the care of pregnant mothers and babies that exemplified the mission of the March of Dimes.

Pam Brokaw has been named executive director for ACE, (A ordable Community Environments), a nonprofit agency that builds a ordable housing. Brokaw has a background in public service, management and project development.

T Square Remodeling Inc., a design and remodel company in Vancouver, has been named the Northwest region's Contractor of the Year in the category of residential addition, $100,000-$250,000, by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
Waddell & Reed has promoted Steve Thomas to district manager. Waddell & Reed offers a variety of investment products and services plus insurance with outside insurance companies.

Nautilus Inc. has promoted Mark Meussner to senior vice president of manufacturing, quality and engineering. Meussner's expanded role includes global manufacturing and new product engineering along with domestic manufacturing and sustaining engineering.

Julie Arenz has been named president of the executive board of directors for the Clark County Chapter of Credit Unions. Additional members include Tony Ruestig, vice president; Ann Travers, treasurer; Megan Hackney, secretary and Jason Green, member at large. Chapter officers include Danette LaChappelle, David Quint, Marianne Franks, Joanne Pearson, Jen Vera and Kay Colclesser.
Katlin Smith Communications, founded by Katlin Smith in 2001, has changed its name to Urban Words Group. Smith remains as principal. The company provides public relations, writing and editing and public involvement services. Its new web site is www.urbanwordsgroup.com.

Celinda Rupert has been elected 2007 president of Vancouver's Downtown Association. Other officers are Linda Glover, vice president; Charlene Dahlen, secretary; Stephanie Diaz, treasurer. Returning directors include Wally Hornberger, Doug Pruitt and Lee Rafferty. New directors are Lee Coulthard, KC Fuller, Nancy Link, Karen Watkins and Jenna Eckert.

Dan Leclerc has joined Lacamas Community Credit Union as chief financial officer and Ed Taylor has been chosen as director of marketing. LCCU has 16,000 members in Clark and Skamania counties.

Reed Dow has sold Dow Columbia, a damage restoration business, to Jerry and Kaley Baker of Battle Ground. Baker has more than 20 years of homebuilding, remodeling and construction and business management experience.

Tamra Tulp, general manager of Residence Inn by Marriott, has assumed the position of board chair for the Southwest Washington Convention & Visitors Bureau. Patrick Swanson has joined as a newly elected director. Other board members include Cindee Stinton-Brown, vice chair, Brent Erickson, treasurer, and Gerry Link, immediate past chair. Continuing directors include Je Quade, Jan Bader, Erik Seaburg, Kelly Sills, Elson Strahan, Brett Wilkerson, Shane Willcox, and Kim Bennett.
Kasey Butler has opened a new Allstate Insurance agency called Butler Insurance & Associates at 14415 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The agency, owned and operated by Butler, offers a line of products and services including auto, property, commercial and life insurance.
